I’ve been looking for a pair of citron jeans for a few weeks so I was thrilled when I spotted them at Ann Taylor! The latest shipment of goodies to hit stores includes cropped jeans in a beautiful variety of fresh spring colours including pastels and floral prints.
Citron is such a cheerful colour for spring that transitions well into summer. You can style it with a wide variety of other colours, but I decided to tap into the monochrome trend for my look!
You don’t have to wear one solid colour to embrace the monochrome trend. When I saw this white blouse with a subtle citron floral print, I knew it was the perfect complement to my jeans.
I love the delicately tiered and layered texture of this A-line blouse with a relaxed drop-waist peplum and subtle hi-low hemline. It’s effortlessly feminine and fresh!
The monochrome styling continues with my accessories – silver and white jewellery sprinkled with crystals, metal toe-cap pumps and a neon citron bag for a multidimensional citron glow!
I love the way pink looks with citron, so I finished off my look with bright pink lips and nails. Check out my nail art manicure by the incredibly talented Rita Remark, Lead Nail Artist for Essie Canada. Ombre pink with white polka dots – so fun and cute for spring!
With a romantic ruffled texture on the blouse, I decided to wear my hair sleek and straight with the help of John Frieda Frizz Ease products. The keratin infused 3-Day Straight Styling Spray really works to relax curls and lock in straight style until you wash it next! I’m really impressed with this product for just $15 at the drug store.
